South Goa authorities have appealed to the public to immediately provide information about anyone from the district who may be missing or uncontactable in Nepal following the recent flash flood disaster.
Residents who have information about family members, relatives, friends or other persons from South Goa who are currently uncontactable in Nepal have been asked to report the details at the nearest police station.

Information can also be shared with the South Goa District Control Room at 0832-2794100, the South Goa PCR at 7875756110, or through the emergency helpline 112.
Authorities said the information received will be compiled and forwarded to the Ministry of External Affairs to assist efforts to trace the missing persons and establish contact with their families in Goa.
The appeal comes as rescue and tracing efforts continue in the aftermath of the devastating flash floods in Nepal, which have affected several areas and left a number of people missing.
