PANJIM: The delegation of Muslim women that met Governor Dr Mridula Sinha last week has clarified that they informed her that triple talaq is very rare in Goa and there is a procedure to be followed. They also said that Muslim women enjoy equal rights in all spheres in life under Islamic laws given in the Quran and that they are happy with the Muslim personal law rather than with the Civil Code, but the Civil Code is followed to respect the law.
