One person was killed and two youths were seriously injured in a head-on collision between two Bullet motorcycles at Carona-Gawar, Aldona. The deceased, Subhash Chodankar (over 50), died on the spot. The injured youths, Prachit Calangutkar (18) and Saitesh Calangutkar (20), sustained severe injuries. Aldona Outpost Police responded to the scene. Locals alleged the ambulance took nearly an hour to arrive. MLA Carlos Alvares Ferreira criticized the response delay and renewed calls for improved emergency services at the Aldona PHC.
