A two-year-old girl died after reportedly drowning in a swimming pool at a farm in Villien Bhati, Sanguem.
According to police, the child was playing near the swimming pool while her mother was feeding her newborn baby. The family later noticed that the girl was missing and found her in the pool.

The child was immediately rushed to the Primary Health Centre (PHC) in Sanguem. However, doctors declared her brought dead.
An autopsy was subsequently conducted, which confirmed drowning as the cause of death. Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
