Margao police station in charge, Police Inspector Sudesh Naik said the police has recorded the statement of Sumit Bramanand Verenkar, resident of Ponda who had send a message on Tousif’s mobile number which was published by Sanatan Prabha condemning the Ankantvadi Goean Naka tiatr director.
According to Police Inspector Sudesh Verenkar stated that he was unaware that the mobile number was that of Tousif de Navelim
Meanwhile, the police have summoned two other persons from Maharastra for recording statement who also had phoned the director on the mobile . Till date Tousif de Navelim police informed to have given six mobile numbers and two internet numbers and police are on the job of verify the source of remaining numbers.
