In a shocking development, American right-wing activist Charlie Kirk (31) was shot dead at a Utah event on Wednesday. Kirk, founder of Turning Point USA, had gained notoriety for his aggressive positions on immigration, including a recent attack on Indian workers.
Just days earlier, Kirk posted: “America does not need more visas for people from India… Enough already.” The remarks drew criticism from immigrant advocates and prompted fresh debate over the H-1B visa program. Conservative figures such as Laura Loomer and Laura Ingraham backed his stance, warning against outsourcing and visa concessions to India.
