MARGAO: The Water Resources Department has commenced the work to construct a retaining wall at Rawanfond on the tributary of River Sal, in Aquem Baixo.

The work was inaugurated by the Navelim MLA Luizinho Faleiro in the presence of Subhash Satardekar, former sarpanch of Aquem Baixo, panch Anand Zambaulikar, WRD Engineer Patrick Fernandes and the residents.
Faleiro thanked the WRD Minister for having passed the work on time and added that many works have commenced in Navelim through the WRD.
