Authorities Cover Drain with Mud Near Transformer Poles Along MDR-10, Raising Concerns

Authorities' Decision to Cover Drain with Mud Sparks Safety and Approval Concerns

Recently, I reported on the work carried out by the Electricity Department in Siolim, where two pole structures were erected to relocate the transformer centre near St. Francis Xavier’s High School. Notably, this was done within the newly constructed stormwater drain. Now, authorities have taken another questionable step by covering approximately six metres of the drain with mud near the poles.

I would like to know whether the PWD has approved the roads in this area or if alternative arrangements will be made to ensure continuity for the ongoing construction of drains along MDR-10.
