PANJIM: Goa Veterans Football team lifted the title of Asian Championship by defeating Malaysia by 1-0. All important goal scored by Niclao Borges. The championship was organised by Bengaluru Veterans Coaching and Recreation Center, Austin Town, Bengaluru, Karnataka, at Karnataka district football ground.

A total of six teams participated in the tournament, namely Wawasan Malaysia, BVC & RC Bengaluru, Indo-French Veterans Pondicherry, Kick Football Academy Chennai, Goa Veterans Club Goa and Tiger Veterans Kannur Kerala.
In the semi-finals, Goa Veterans defeated Royal Tiger Veterans Kerala 3-0. Niclao Borges, Seby Vaz and Josorose Oliveiro were the goalscorers.
Best goalkeeper of the tournament was awarded to Camilo Barreto.

Team was coached by Luis Vas and manager Manoj Naik Keny.
