Various issues pertaining to the devolution of funds, execution of pending development works and a resolution to oppose the marina project in Cortalim was also moved by the Zilla Panchayat. The absence of a permanent Executive Engineer was also discussed and resolved to meet the PWD Minister with the issue. The Zilla Panchayat also formulated a 5 member committee to which has decided to meet the Chief Minister and discuss various issues pertaining ZP’s.
