PANJIM: The Town and Country Planning (TCP) Department’s Conservation panel on Wednesday granted its nod to 32 applicants, including churches, to renovate their heritage structures.
The panel headed by TCP Minister Chandrakant Kavlekar, allowed the applicants, who had applied seeking permission to renovate their heritage structures that include houses and churches.
Kavlekar said that the permission has been granted to renovate the heritage structures without compromising on the identity of the structures.
“We have studied how the structures were before and how the owners now intend to renovate it,” he said.
