A 25-year-old pillion rider from Solapur, Maharashtra, succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment at Goa Medical College and Hospital (GMC), Bambolim, following a road accident at Kereye-Khandepar on Friday afternoon.
The deceased, identified as Abhishek Dhawre, was travelling as a pillion rider on a Bullet motorcycle when it collided with a roadside container.

Dhawre sustained critical injuries in the crash and was shifted to GMC Bambolim for treatment. However, he later succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment.
The motorcycle rider, 26-year-old Uddhav Koli, also from Maharashtra, died on the spot following the collision.
