Television and Marathi actor Priya Marathe passed away in Mumbai on August 31, 2025, after a year-long battle with cancer. She was 38.
Born in Mumbai in 1987, Marathe began her career with Marathi serials like Ya Sukhanoya and Char Divas Sasuche. She gained nationwide recognition with roles in Kasamh Se, Comedy Circus, Bade Acche Lagte Hain, and Pavitra Rishta, where she played Varsha Satish.
