CURCHOREM: South Goa Congress LS candidate Francisco Sardinha said “Congress is not an option but a solution to protect and preserve the democracy in India,” while addressing the Congress workers at Congress office, Curchorem on Sunday.
Speaking further he said that changing BJP and bringing Congress is not an option, it is a solution as the current regime is running on false promises. “Prime Minister said that demonetisation he did to bring back black money to expose the rich people but in reality poor and small businessmen finished,” said Sardinha and urged the workers to work unitedly by forgetting all the differences and convey the message to the voters to vote for Congress to uphold the constitution and solve all the issues of the people including mining.
Former Curchorem MLA Domnic Fernandes urged the workers to manage the booths seriously and work to get plus votes on every booth of the constituency. “Every Congress worker knows the situation in the country and why the government must change and therefore it is worker’s duty to convince and bring all the workers back in the party hold who were stayed away from Congress for various reasons,” said Fernandes and criticised the defectors who left their parent party for their selfish gains.
Sayed Yunus said that everyone must stand against this fascist regime as this regime is running on false foundation and therefore we need a government who will take us and our problems along and give solution and that only Congress can do. “World knows that India is a largest democracy but now democracy is ‘detreating’ and therefore we must save our democracy and only Congress can do it,” said Yunus and urged to vote for Congress and elect Sardinha as South Goa member of parliament.
