A Nigerian was arrested on charges of possessing drugs worth around Rs 1.24 lakh at Saligao on Monday.
This arrest comes barely two days after another Nigerian was arrested for allegedly possessing drugs worth Rs 1.28 lakh at Calangute.
According to Calangute Police, Nwobodo Obiora David (23), who was residing at Donwaddo-Saligao, was arrested at the Saligao Church parking lot on Monday evening in possession of the illegal drugs.
Calangute Police recovered from him 25 gms of Ecstacy tablets valued at Rs 52,800, 11 gms of cocaine valued at Rs 55,000, 4 gms of heroine valued at Rs 16,000, besides cash and mobile,all worth Rs 1,25,400. PSI Narayan Chimulkar is investigating the case.
