VASCO: Eighty-six referees, both existing and freshers and 21 match commissioners have successfully passed the GFA fitness test for referees also known as the Cooper Test conducted by AIG instructor Goculdas Nagvenkar at Ravanfond (Navelim) ground, Sunday
Among those who achieved success in the test were three women referees, all freshers, Mishel Castanha, Guillu Fernandes and Mabel Mascarenhas besides their hero or rather heroine the path breaking FIFA referee, Maria Rebello.
MLA Benjamin Silva, GFA executive committee member and chairman of referees committee and Schubert Furtado, GFA executive committee member and organizing secretary were among those present.
