Gaurav Kudchadkar, was addressing the media in the presence of Ponda block president Anil Naik, Sudesh Narvekar, Vilas Gavde and Ajay Naik.
Speaking further, he said, AAP just can’t jump to a conclusion as only 200 people attended the meeting of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal held in Savitri Hall, Ponda recently. People attend a public meeting just to hear what the political leaders say, he added.
He further charged that AAP’s Rajeshree Nagarsekar’s recent claim that MGP leader Sudin Dhavalikar fears AAP campaign as it is getting good response from taluka voters is baseless, as the people of Ponda have always judged the MGP leader on his performance and the MGP is known for its work at the grassroot level.
In the past, AAP tried to malign Sudin’s image on the education issue, but he later got a clean chit from the court.
Ponda MLA Lavoo Mamledar is not attending the LED bulb distribution in Ponda as its alliance partner BJP is disregarding the MLA by inviting him at the last moment, he alleged.
He claimed that even if MGP continues its alliance with the BJP or not, it is sure to win around 8 to 10 seats in forthcoming Assembly elections.
