PS: TempoGO, along with Prototyze has been engaging with Goan industry and academia. We provide both employment and internship opportunities to local Goans. In fact Mihir Shetye, our co-founder and head of customer success is a Goan. We are soon looking to start R&D for different types of sensors where we will closely partner with local engineering colleges.

HERALD: What new innovation have you added to your product?
PS: Recently we have added a unique fuel sensor to our product portfolio which can be easily installed in trucks to check fuel pilferage. Traditional fuel sensors are very costly and involve a very cumbersome installation process which requires drilling the fuel tank. Through our immobilizer, we enable a fleet operator to stop a vehicle remotely with a click or an SMS to prevent vehicle thefts or route deviations. Apart from this, we also provide temperature and door sensors on need basis. We will soon roll out an e-way bill solution to complement our existing fleet management and trip management solutions.
HERALD: How do you see the Goa market?
PS: There is great potential in the Goan market. Apart from car rental and tourist vehicle providers, there is a huge demand in the mining industry and school buses, where we can monitor speed, track vehicles and provide geofence alerts. We already provide our services to car rental companies, logistics and freight transportation companies.
HERALD: Where do you see yourself in next five years?
PS: Over the next five years, we aim to become a leading telematics solution provider in India and also expand our global footprint.
