Recently she watched a Russian movie dubbed into English about people stuck at an airport after a dormant volcano erupted. Riveting stuff, she said it was. Her choice in reading is dictated by her love for the wild. She reads fiction and was recently at a jungle camp in Jawai. The jungle usually is the place to find her when she is on vacation. She intends to visit the Sunderbans to explore the mangroves. Her interest was piqued by the fact that she was born in Mysore and was surrounded by jungles.

The family takes holidays twice a year and the last one was at the Jim Corbett Park in Uttarakhand. Now however with the restaurant, it will not be as frequent.
