He lives in Porvorim in a part that is very green, which is quite helpful. Conrad likes to go for a brisk walk after waking up at 6.30 in the morning. Physical fitness is an important aspect of his morning routine. Twice a week he goes over to the gym to work those muscles. After all that sweating he returns home, to have a hearty breakfast and prepare for the day. And oh yes, he does meditate every day.
Like anyone who likes his food his breakfast usually includes eggs, marmalade, butter, bread and washed down by black coffee. Since all his clients are based outside the State and his office is just ten minutes away from his residence, he tends to conduct all his meetings on the phone.
Like his preference for meditation, his choice of music is indicative of someone who likes it to be cool but also more importantly have depth. Jazz remains his music of choice with George Benson, Al di Meola and Michael Buble his favourite artists.
His choice of movies however is more theatrical. He likes his epics like Game of Thrones, Noah, Gladiator to name a few. Harrison Ford, Kevin Costner and Russel Crowe are actors he follows with some passion.
Like many advertising professionals he has read books by David Ogilvy on advertising but otherwise he does not have the time to read books but he keeps himself aware of the developments around him.
However there cannot be a better way to educate oneself than to travel around the world. Italy remains a favourite having visited that country in 2013. He enjoys visiting the south of that country. He has also visited other countries in Europe. He loves the Italian cuisine and claims he is a very good cook of that cuisine. However when asked if he had any favourite restaurant, he said he preferred to go to the small holes in the walls where one could get the genuine cuisine of the State. Good honest food he said without the adjustments some would make for tourists perhaps.
For someone who works long hours and is very focussed on his business, his hopes and dreams are pretty prosaic. He said “I like people to be upfront and honest when they deal with me because I am in my dealings. I am a no nonsense kinda guy. It ensures I don’t have unnecessary tensions in my life.”
Asked what he wanted to do in five years he said he wanted to expand his business to other cities and even perhaps move internationally. As someone who loves driving he hopes to visit more places in the country and abroad.
