He alternates between runs and walks every day that stretch to anywhere between 6 and 10 km. It takes him approximately 70 minutes. He intends to resume going to the gym during the monsoons.
Given that he runs a construction company, Borkar Development Pvt Ltd, Rohit has a pretty hectic schedule. He does not watch movies or the television but he listens to a lot off music. He has over 1000 songs on his ipod and there is a song for every mood. He is not band specific but rather more focussed o the songs. From rock to Indian he likes them all.
He reads a lot with a judicious mix of fiction and non- fiction. Rohit is presently reading Amitav Ghosh and he also enjoys reading about pioneers in business like Steve Jobs. He buys his books online. With regards food, he likes Indian Chinese and Goan food, nothing continental for him. Among the restaurants in Goa, he quite likes the Red Chilli in Colva and Martins. In Mumbai it is Ghazalli.
He likes a holiday once a year and was recently in Rajasthan with the family. He has in the past visited London, Paris and Switzerland. He enjoys photography and riding his 500cc Enfield Bullet in his spare time. With regards to plans for the future, he said “Well I don’t think about it, whatever happens will happen”.
