PANJIM: On its fervent endeavor to create awareness on the importance of wearing helmet by riders and pillion while riding two wheelers, the Quadros Group of Companies conducted a rally on June 7. The event was inaugurated by Cleophaus Dias (ZP Curtorim Constituency) at 3 pm from Quadros Motocorp Co, the Vespa showroom-cum-workshop, Margao. 53 scooters and bikes such as Vespa, Yamaha, Suzuki and Mahindra participated. At 4pm, the rally was flagged of by Velim MLA Benjamin Silva. The rally passed through the Margao, Ponda and Chinchinim and culminated back in Margao with a get together at Quadros Motorides, the Yamaha showroom cum workshop. The Quadros Group of Companies, one of the leading players in the two and four wheeler segment of Goa believes that riding a bike or scooter should have embodiments of both fun and safety attached to riding. “The rally was to propagate the message that wearing helmet is a win-win situation for both rider and pillion. We are elated despite the rally being held during monsoon and that too on Sunday to find a sizeable presence of rally enthusiasts,” opined Evencio Quadros, Chairman Quadros Group of Companies.
