Special
invitees of Indo Portuguese Friendship
Society-Goa recently had a memorable day when then got to interact with Dr
Marcelo Rebello de Souza, President of the Republic of Portugal. A special book
about Goa was offered by the President of the Society-Goa, Anarita Chico, and
other dignitaries such as Elinio Colaco, Gopal Pai Vernekar, Rene Mendes,
Audhut Caro, etc.
Also present were Dr
Edgar Valles, Former President of Casa de Goa and Associate of IPFS; Dr Carmo
Gracias, Vice President; Ethelvina Bruto da Costa, Vice President; Orty Soares,
Vice President; Tolentino Antonio Colaco, Secretary; Francisco Martins, Member;
Dr Ulhas Karpe, Member, etc.

the President of Portugal was escorted by Rene Mendes of Indo Portuguese
Friendship Society-Goa un route to Old Goa, visiting various spots along the
way and learning about the history.
