Junior Herald organised
its second edition of
Children’s Day Out for children from the age groups 7 to 12 years at Clube
Harmonia de Margoa on 19 November and at St Michael’s Church Hall, Anjuna on 26
November, 2017. All together 230 children took part enthusiastically in Margao
and Anjuna. The day included fun filled games, exciting prizes and workshops
like communication skills of speech and drama by Priya Almeida from Adv.
Rudolph Almeida Memorial Institute of Learning and Runa Menezes from Speaking
Studio. Power yoga and free style dance aerobics by Jasmine D’Souza from Jzy
Yoga and Fitness Studio indulge in peace, self defence techniques by Dr Kiran
Shenvi Kerker from World Shotokan Karate do federation Goa, Jazz choreography
by Glavan Dmello from Dance O Philia, arts and craft by Yamini Parmar, musical
wind instrument hands on experience by Vijayan Almeida from St Sebastian School
of music Aquem and essence of Indian folk dance by Vrinda Kanani from Darsh
Dance Academy, Vasco. Lunch and Refreshments were provided by Priya Gupta from
Easy Grill,Blazita D’souza from Anjuna and Real coldrinks while music and decor
was managed by Sameer Kapadi from BizNbuzz Inc.
