MARGAO: Just Cricket registered their first win in the Goa Big Bash cricket tournament, defeating Quantei Titans at MCC ground, Margao, on Thursday.
Putting to bat first, Quantei Titans scored 179 runs in the allotted 20 overs. Roshan Dhongade scored a quick-fire 57 off just 33 deliveries while Himanshu Kular (43) and Vishal Shah (31) were the other top run getters for the Titans.
For Just Cricket, their skipper Rabindra Jhunhunwala bagged two wickets.
In reply, Karan Chug’s blistering knock of 71 runs in just 27 balls guided them to successfully chasing the target. Rajendra Singh (46) was the other batsman to score big.
For Quantei Titans, Vishah Shah picked two wickets giving away just 16 runs.
