Junior Herald organised the 4th edition of its Summer Camp at MI Academy (formally known
as Clube De Goa) in Porvorim on May 4, 2019 and Club Harmonia De Margao on May
5, where 150 kids between the ages of 7 to 11 years participated in different
activities.
Glavan
Dmello, the artistic director of Dance O Philia, organised a jazz funk dance
workshop along with Siya Kalangutkar and Adriel Sena, where kids were taught
trust exercises and dance choreography. There was also a session on the art of
cartooning-comic strip making by Lawrence Joseph from Serious Fun Art Studio.
The drama workshop by Smital Hoble from Helen O’Grady International EduDrama
Academy encouraged confidence, enthusiasm and creativity through different body
movements and voice modulations. Certificates were distributed to all kids.
Lunch and refreshments were served by Blazy Dsouza from Anjuna.
