The story revolves around Carlos (Pradeep Naik), his spouse Catharine (Dola) and their only son Jesus (Creto). Carlos by nature is a dreamer, but his dreams are never fulfilled. On the other hand, Catharine has full faith in her son and believes that he will never take any decision in life without informing her. Jesus is pursuing his studies in Bangalore and finally returns home as a software engineer. But on his return, he comes with his wife Mitali (Tracy de Calangute), who is a Hindu by religion. Carlos and Catharine are shocked at the decision of their only son as they never expected Jesus would choose a girl from a different religion. But they have to accept the bitter truth and patiently digest the hard reality.
Now, along with Mitali, her father Baburao (Benny de Aldona) also makes an entry in the house. And things seem to be working not in favour, but against Carlos and Catharine. When Nataline (Nato) and Lazarin (Fiona) step in informing about their trip to Jerusalem, they coax Carlos and Catharine to join them for the tour. As the expenses come around Rs 4 lakh, the couple makes a request to Jesus for timely assistance.
Initially, when the request is put forth before Jesus, he agrees to assist his aging parents generously. But suddenly changes his mind, and instead helps his father-in-law in order to paint his old house in Bangalore.

‘MAIM PAICHO KAIDO’

Comedian Agostinho’s tiatr ‘Maim Paicho Kaido’ has a good storyline with sleek direction. Although a simple story of loving parents ill-treated by ungrateful children, yet it has been well enacted with twists, turns and a different ending.
All the artistes have given the best of performances. Pradeep and Dola pair well as spouses, while Creto as their son have shared the stage with good acts. There’s Tracy de Calangute with a typical Hindu accent and Benny de Aldona extends good support.
In the comic acts, there are six comedians, namely Comedian Agostinho, Brian, Joyel, Fiona, Nato and Ambe, on stage and they entertain with a good dose of laughter pills.
In the category of songs, Sneha steps in for the opening song, followed by solos from Peter de Arambol, Benny de Aldona, Tony de Ribandar and Jr Reagan. Other songs are by Jr Reagan and Sneha, Benny de Aldona and Olga and Peter de Arambol, Francis de Tuem and Tony de Ribandar. A duo and quartet went amiss in the presentation. Political songs by Olga and Francis de Tuem receive encores.
The stage sets are by Pedro Santan and light effects have been handled by Ratna.
