This year with the virus running berserk many Bollywood actors and actresses came over to get away from it all. From young ones like Sara Ali Khan and her brother Ibrahim Ali Khan to Ananya Pandey, Ishan Khatter, Varun Dhawan and his beau Natasha Dalal they were all in Goa. Now that’s the young ones. The big guns were here too. Karan Johar came along with his mom and children to work and relax in a fancy resort. The vagaries of the virus meant that a shoot scheduled for Sri Lanka was shifted to Goa and superstar Deepika Padukone moved to the state to shoot for Shakun Batra’s yet to be named film with Deepika Padukone and Nanaya Pandey. Ananya Pandey and Ishaan Khatter had earlier arrived in Goa for their shoot of another romantic action drama Khali Peeli. The stay of these celebrities meant the internet was littered with photographs of these celebrities enjoying themselves in various locales in the state. From Sara cooling down in a pool in one instance and cycling with her brother to Varun relaxing with Natasha, it was sheer bliss. Sara Ali Khan, who has acted opposite Sushant Singh Rajput, was in Goa with brother Ibrahim and mother Amrita Singh. In one of her Instagram posts she wrote “Hiding from 2020 like…. #camouflage, #mondaymood #Mondaymotivation. And then the bomb dropped. Rhea Chakraborty was picked up for interrogation following the death of her partner Sushant Singh Rajput. She named names of actors and actresses who she alleged consumed drugs. She along with others who worked for Sushant Singh Rajput was interrogated. Jaya Shah the talent manager of Sushant Singh named Deepika Padukone. Rhea named Sara Ali khan and Rakul Preet Singh amongst others. The investigation was widened and the authorities finally decided to call Sharaddha Kapoor along with Deepika, Rakul and Sara. Popular stars that had large fan followings were being called for interrogation. The party had certainly come to a standstill. Now everything else has been pushed to the side and the country shall wait with bated breadths as to what will be revealed by the four.

Some of Bollywood’s A listers including two summoned by the Narcotics Control Bureau in connection with the Sushant Singh Rajput death investigations, Deepika Padukone and Sara Ali khan were on extended stays in Goa for work and relaxation. The summons to both revealed how Bollywood’s biggies left town for the twin reasons of the Corona frustration and the heat and controversy generated after the Sushant Singh Rajput death investigations by the three agencies gained ground
