Disability
Rights Association of Goa (DRAG)
has made special arrangements for a wheelchair accessible pandal opposite
Serenity Apartments, Miramar, for persons with disability and the elderly to
view the Panjim Carnival parade. People desiring to sit in the pandal are
requested to be seated by 3pm due to traffic restrictions.
DRAG
will also be participating in the float parade along with Enable Travel and Ezy
Mov to promote Goa as an accessible and inclusive tourist destination for
people with disability. The float will have around 80 to 100 people with
various disabilities. The highlights of the float will be live music, floating
wheelchair and an accessible wheelchair vehicle.
