FRIENDS, an emotion
Rachel, Monica, Phoebe, Chandler, Joey Ross. They are the not
just friends. They ARE F R I E N D S and they are friends of the world. They
don’t grow old, they don’t grow out of fashion and they don’t go away. From
Hotstar, the series has just migrated to Netflix, and has left fans of FRIENDS
cheering.
A lot of people have admitted that FRIENDS
is a series which helped them grow happy and relieved them from worldly chaos. Amandeep Kaur Garcha who is finally happy to know that FRIENDS
is back on Netflix expresses her emotions towards the show, “I love friends
because the concept of the show is very unique, this show has helped me out when
I was dealing with a lot of stress in my life.”

She knows that it is a very simple show,
and yet one can watch it over and over again. “Every character in this series
plays a very significant and different role, whether it’s their dialogues or
profession, even that 90’s dressing sense, I love all the characters but my
favorite is Joey, he’s kind and caring, and I love his humour, he’s a bit
vacuous but I love that about him,” she adds
FRIENDS, a first choice
“When I heard Netflix was going to start showing FRIENDS I was
super excited! Being a #No1 FRIENDS fan I no longer have to plug in my Hard
Disk to watch random episodes during lunch time,” says student Ashlesha Noronha who spends most of her time on Netflix.
She exaggerates and confirms, “Phoebe, OBVIOUSLY!” when asked upon her favorite
character on FRIENDS. “Her dumb humour is something I can relate to,” she adds.
She talks about how her friends and she do crazy stuff when the hand around
together, “I can never describe my friends, they like my own little family.”
FRIENDS, a ship that sails for a lifetime
“I have already watched FRIENDS, so I don’t need to, but my
favorite series that I have binged watched on Netflix is Stranger Things,” says
Maurus Fernandes. Maurus (student) loves watching series on
Netflix and since he has already watched FRIENDS he explains that just like
FRIENDS, Stranger Things too shows us that one can always rely on friends, and
that friendship is best tested in dark times even if the surviving probability
is below 1%”
According to him, linking FRIENDS and Stranger Things to real
life scenarios, friendship is ship that sails for a lifetime and is not only
about partying and boozing.
FRIENDS, it is the little things that matter
“No
other series has been more influential and inspirational than F.R.I.E.N.D.S.
Every year, I binge watch the series at least twice a year. It was a series I
was craving for on Netflix and well now my wish has come true,” admits Avril Antao, educationist,
football lover, and Netflix crazed. Though underrated, Monica Geller is her
favorite character. “She is an amazing friend to all of the other five
characters, a supportive sister and the perfect hostess. She loves challenges,
is bossy yes, loves to be extremely organized, yet despite her flaws, she is
someone we can relate to the most. Through her relationship with Chandler, she
portrays that it is the little things that truly matter,” she adds.
