Have you ever wondered what your monthly expenses would look like if you had to spend less on your phone? Well, it’s not beyond the realm of your expectations. In fact, new announcements as of September 1, 2016 hint just that. In fact, one of the many upsides to the new announcement is the offer of additional data upon subscription, to students upon providing campus-based proof of identity. Of course, it is the youth that will largely be the benefactors of this new age of data provision, with competitive rivals, being forced to match the offers that are currently being floated.
Many feel that their phone bills will look more attractive, now that there will be competition to provide the best plan to consumers:
I think that there will be an increase in communication and social media connectivity, once there is a drop in the tariff paid. Even people who don’t use data at all, will be on board.

It’s a good thing that data usage costs will become cheaper across the board, as students need access to the internet for various reasons. Apart from that, more people will start using the net, thus communication will become better. More friends will use WhatsApp and other social networking tools, bringing everyone closer.

There will be massive competition amongst network providers now. Since the price of data plans will become cheaper, students and the younger crowd overall, will have the benefit of saving more money. Downloading music and videos will also no longer be a problem for them, because of the expected drop in cost. This idea has really got people’s attention in the best way possible, and I feel it will do well in the future too, let alone the present.
