ARTmosphere is an exhibition that showcases talented artists, each of whom bring a unique style
to the table. Set against the scenic background of the Shashi Art Balcao in
Varca, the amalgamation of these five artists along with the setting brings
together an earthy and organic ambiance. From oils, pencils to pastels,
acrylics to pen & ink, be prepared to embark upon a sensorial journey at
‘ART’mosphere.
The exhibition will be opened to the
public from January 20 to 27, 2019 between 10 am and 7:30 pm.
Originally known as Ooma’s Balcao, run by
the late Sashi D’Costa, the then in-house artist, the gallery has now been
reopened as Sashi Art Balcao. With its aim at making it a high class gallery,
Sashi Art Balcao intends on presenting a diverse artistic, cultural and
educational program accompanying soulful and innovative exhibitions of Goan,
Indian and international emerging and established visual artists.
Waldron Fernandes and Klein Colaco, the
organisers, are looking at bringing awareness to the ever-changing, quirky, yet
humble, traditional, yet forward-looking art scene in Goa.
The exhibition aptly titled ARTmosphere,
is looking at creating the perfect ambience for Gallery Shashi and making it a
place that can inspire and be a centre of creativity. For this exhibition, you
