Bangladesh test

National Security Adviser Ajit Doval’s visit to Myanmar next week to discuss the fallout and possible future operations against North-East militant groups that are operating from the country augurs well.
Strikes by insurgents in the North-East which has claimed many innocent lives has been a matter of concern. The Special Forces bravado in crossing the border and taking on the enemy and annihilating them was unprecedented and deserves special mention.
It is now imperative that the armed forces of the two countries chalk out a strategy to eliminate militant groups who have a strong presence in Myanmar and enhance security cooperation between the two countries.
