The government has failed to realize our long pending dream of a bridge which the chief minister had promised at the time elections. It’s over two and half years since the BJP government is in power but till today they are only fooling us. People of Chorao had elected the BJP candidate for Chorao keeping hopes that we would have a bridge constructed. Parrikar once quoted that Congress had fooled us all these years, but his government was meant to fulfill the promises. Now, the people of Chorao have completely lost hope in him as even though the BJP came to power at the Centre with Shripad Naik winning the North Goa seat, still nothing moves. Till today he has never even stepped in Chorao to do any inquiries.
