The majority of the Congress oldies have loads of skeleton’s not just in their cupboards but in their trunks too.. Only if the oldies step aside (or are shown the door like Peter Fernandes was attempting to do) and make way for a totally new crop of Congressmen/women, the people of Goa will give them their support at the next hustings. All said and done, the middle of the path (not right wing) ideology of our nation’s founding fathers is the best course for our democratic country.
Luizinho Faleiro must be more assertive in his approach in cleaning the Congress’ stables of unredeemable tainted deadwood. Just dispelling one student (Babush) from a group of diehard students will not discipline the entire school. All the satraps must go because they have let down and betrayed the Congress electorate who has and still has full faith in the inclusive tenets of the Congress founded by Nehru-Gandhi-Patel.
Faleiro, Rane and even Ravi Naik are confident Congress will come back in 2017. Listen to the Voice of the People guys for we say – “Not if the same names pop up again. Let new blood like Curtorim’s Lourenco, come in all across Goa state. There are many good people waiting in the wings to pull the Congress ‘train’ that has been taken willfully off the tracks”.
