I believe that these mothers do not register their babies’ names with the local police when they return to India, but the names and other birth details can be found with the external foreign ministry who had been so active in investigating with the Portuguese Government those individuals whose birth details have been transcribed in Portugal. These babies born in the USA who now live and grow in India claiming all the benefits that Indians are entitled to are actually American citizens.
