It was recently reported that the CM has laid the foundation stone of the new Mandovi bridge. Sir, I find too many foundations are laid but hardly any inauguration takes place. Must we remind our authorities that this is Goa!
I remember as a boy doing my Segundo Grau at Panjim often going with my dad in 1930s in his Official car to lay the foundation and for the inauguration of the only Irrigation Canal of Paroda, also to lay the foundation and inauguration of the Banastarim bridge, also of the Borim bridge and also of bridge at Usgao.
Earlier the CM had laid the foundation stone for a World Class Sports Complex to be completed in 2015 and the year is already halfway but the complex is far from half way and the poor boys who used the playground are now practicing their cricket with stones for wickets at our gate!
