This refers to the article ‘Sardesai and The Progress of Casteism’ by Amita Kanekar carried in your 20th Nov edition. One thought free speech is something that our democracy encourages. Just like the author can write about her views she should grant Rajdeep Sardesai the same benefit.
It is not that certain communities should put a hold on their tongue while others can spew out whatever they like quoting sources which one never knows may not even stand the test of credibility. This is just a suggestion but your paper should not carry articles like this which refuse to give a balanced view of things.
To stress the point the fact remains that 2 GSB’s are in the present Central Cabinet and that is irrefutable. So what’s the problem in stating it?
