Have a sense of humour

Some realists (not pessimists), aver that reading newspapers is stressful. That’s because people take things too seriously and lack a sense of humour. I am referring to some damaging statements made by some politicians and public figures. Rather than carry out protests in the scorching sun, thereby getting tanned and ruining their matrimonial prospects, they should stay in the comforts of their home and laugh their lungs out. Also, the wearing of helmets, in robot-like fashion, by pedestrians as well, will not only ward off being tanned but will keep the body and soul together on our hazardous roads.
In the recent past, cinema houses have been shutting shop because people are unduly addicted to the idiot box. I would suggest that older political election speeches should be screened in public theatres in toto, without being edited. They will run to packed houses. However, the seats will rattle a bit because of the uproarious laughter of the audience listening to the serious and convincing promises of a speedy flow of Acche Din and about their personal coffers being filled to the brim.
