The spate of deaths revolving around the Vyapam scam is scary. The death of Dr Arun Sharma, dean of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Medical College, comes close on the heels of the mysterious death of TV journalist Akshay Singh and gives the feeling that something is amiss. Over 40 people, including the accused and witnesses, connected to the Vyapam scam have died so far making it a fit case for the record books. The government, both at the Centre and the State, should leave no stone unturned into investigating the cause for these deaths which have sent a chill down the spine of many.
