All the government’s went on pampering these Kannadigas for their votes and greed for power and overlooked rather encouraged the illegalities all these years, and the end result is the threats. The government action of eviction of the Kannadigas at this time of the year is most inhuman. So also the threats by KOAC are more condemnable.
Supposing Goans had to set up a single tent in any part of Karnataka, would that government tolerate it. The Goa government has been too tolerant all these years and thus gave upper hand to KOAC to spell out threats. This cannot be taken lying down. When the monsoons are over, the government should carry out the High Court order as regards Moti Dongor, Margao also. Such an action will discourage further illegal occupation of Goan lands. Otherwise we will head for disaster, with no land left for Goans.
