I refer to the article in Herald dated 28th Dec with ref to the comments made by Dr Oscar Rebello about GMC. Its really nice to hear him speak after his long and deafening silence unlike in the past when he used to speak out so openly practically every day . Politics and social issues are an ongoing and continuous process and should not be resorted to only at the time when elections are announced otherwise people lose their trust as they can see through such gimmicks .
Dr. Oscar who was once so vociferous when with the GBA taking up issues concerning Goa and the environment , Regional Plan, MOI etc has suddenly preferred to remain silent of late! Where are you doctor? Now is the time to speak out and ensure that the government fulfills the promises it had made during the last elections to the ‘Goan Aam- Aadmi ‘ .
