Construction of road through fields between Sernabatim and Colva, is understandably, being carried out without any research or the impact it will have on the local environment. Cutting of sand dunes and trees is an open gate to flooding. I understand that when the police arrived at the site, the truck attached to the project had its diesel emptied into the soil adding to the environmental damage. It proves the project is carried out with brute force rather than “approved planning project.” It is often said that “thieves operate under the cover of darkness”. That is no longer the case. Thugs operate under the cover of politicians.
