Prime Minister Narendra Modi came to power promising an attack on corruption. Bribery and corruption is to be found at all levels of those who are in a position of authority. Is it not time for religious leaders of all faiths to join together and unitedly do their bit and emphasize to their followers that asking for and taking a bribe is morally and socially wrong and that at some stage those who do will have to account for their actions. Attacking corruption simultaneously at the grass roots and at the higher levels will give the greatest chance of stamping out this evil practice.
