The common man is overburdened by the present Chief Minister by increasing the taxes on common things which are commonly used by the common man. What Mr Parrikar did, Mr Parsekar undid. Mr Parrikar had reduced the petrol price by Rs 11 per liter only to fool us and win the election, now the present Chief Minister is slowing increasing the petrol price step by step.
I feel that Chief Minister should recover the crores of rupees spent by the Tourism Minister for his foreign and domestic tours in the name of tourism before taxing the common man. The argument of Tourism Minister over his foreign jaunts is unwarranted.
There is no need for him to visit foreign countries to bring the tourist. Goa being famous for tourism, they come by themselves. The Chief Minister has increased the outlay for the Tourism Department by Rs.260.89 crores for Mr Parulekar to spend for his foreign tours. Secondly the schemes introduced by Mr Parrikar are slowly disappearing.
In many cases the Rs 2000 paid to the senior citizens as monthly dole is being stopped by the present Chief Minister. The monthly dole of Rs 1000 for the house wives is also not been received by many. Two elections are already won by the BJP by fooling the people and the same schemes will be renewed at the time of next election. Goans please beware.
