I am aghast at MLA Vijay Sardessai’s efforts to rehabilitate the occupants of Baina’s illegal hutment. Does he want to reward illegal activities? People work hard and pay taxes, and here these politicians think of giving freebies to those involved in illegalities. Politicians who want to do this should rehabilitate illegal hutments to their own properties and not further burden the state.
