Union Minister for Human Resource Development Smiriti Irani deserves all compliments for being a vigilant citizen by exposing hidden cameras in ladies’ trial-room of a garment-showroom of reputed brand in Goa. Instead of hiding the identities of the culprits, they should be publicly exposed and paraded before media under a policy of ‘name and shame’ as a deterrent against such practice by others which may not be uncommon in present era of misuse of advanced technology. Sufficient monetary punishment has been automatically handed over (and so deserved) to the renowned retail-chain because of high level of adverse publicity to the brand-name with media prominently highlighting name of the retail-chain.
