IFFI is held annually for almost a decade in Goa is currently on. But to have a bigger audience, the films being screened at the IFFI should also be telecast on Doordarshan’s national channel in its prime time slot at night. These films could also have particular, but regular shows in the cinemas halls of cities in India, so that everyone, not only a selected few, can watch and enjoy these good films.
It is a matter of convenience too if shown on DD. If this is done, Prasar Bharti – DD can earn much needed revenue by getting sponsors for the films to be shown.
