There is a high-profile debate in the courts and out of court to determine the outcome of the Salman Khan hit-and-run case which has been languishing in the courts for almost 13 years. A simple occurrence like this should have been solved in a year or two. The prosecution and the defence lawyers have been gathering and adducing their arguments to tilt the balance of justice in its respective favors. However, the simple truth is that a certain chain of events have occurred during the hit-and-run case and thereafter for the past about 13 years. However much each of the prosecution and defence lawyers have been jostling for supremacy, the only thing that matters is that none can try to escape natural justice by trying to portray anything that did not happen in order to convince the judges. All that is being said in court that veers from the truth is only attracting the wrath of the hand of natural justice that is monitoring the unfolding of the events in the true sense of the word.
Salman Khan may ultimately escape being punished but he shall never cease to be exculpated, if he is guilty, from the balance of guilt that he may be or may not be subject to depending on his actual deeds.
A truth is a truth and a lie is a lie and under no circumstance does natural justice not take its definite course of justice that affects the perpetrator. So, it is immaterial whether Salman Khan is convicted or not. If he is truly guilty he shall have to pay for his sins one way or the other. Winning in the courts by spreading lies and using sheer clout does not mean that natural justice will exculpate him. Either way he will have to pay for his misdeeds or his good deeds. It is time Salman Khan abide by the truth of what actually happened. Natural law will abide and take things in stride. What is the use of trying to portray a false exterior and suffering the pangs of internal guilt? His net karma will determine what blessings he will enjoy or what curses he will have to incur. Let him not deny the colossus that stands on the eternal pedestal of truth – natural Justice.
