Did doctor prescribe?
Charles Krauthammer had this to say: “Science has everything to say about what is possible. Science has nothing to say about what is permissible.” Contemporary society is dealing with a number of issues that must be addressed and resolved for happiness and health today and for posterity. The elderly live with nostalgia; middle-aged people are worried about many things; and the younger generation is excited about everything. The question in many people’s minds is: who authorised the secular culture to determine nature? For example, celebrate same-sex union as natural, attributing it to the design of nature. A child’s biological sex (male or female) is determined by the chromosome that the male parent contributes. Males have XY sex chromosomes, while females have XX sex chromosomes; the male can contribute the X or Y chromosome, while the female must contribute one of their X chromosomes. Why do humans blindly buy all that is experimented with by secular culture? Certainly, it is not prescribed by any doctor. There is no single gene responsible for a person being gay or lesbian. Most scientific studies show that sexuality cannot be pinned down by biology, psychology, or life experiences because human sexual attraction is determined by all these factors. Therefore, be mindful. “You may not be able to read the doctor’s handwriting and prescription, but you’ll notice his bills are neatly typewritten,” says Earl Wilson.
Theory of Evolution
Although, the secular society celebrates the theory of evolution, yet it disregards the fundament principal of evolution, that is, ‘Survival’. According to the principal of evolution, even in the most hostile environment, a species tries to adapt to unfriendly conditions to survival and thrive, rather than be subject to extinction. How does the same sex union fit into the model of the theory of evolution? Ironically, the theory of evolution condemns the celebration of the gay culture promoted by the secular society, and reason concurs. According to the theory of evolution, reason does not feature, because evolution is based on chance. Humans have reason and free will, and therefore, humans’ fundamentals don’t fit into the theory of evolution, which is based on chance and survival. Therefore, humans have to rise above the ordinary quagmire of pleasure into the realm of truth and objectivity that defines human existence. The final goal of human existence is happiness and not pleasure. Celebrating same sex union is celebrating pleasure not happiness. And happiness is beyond matter and is found in a spiritual realm that celebrates truth and objective morality.
Communism
What could be the possible reason for the exponential increase in same-sex attraction in modern and contemporary society? It is imperative for rational beings to seriously examine this phenomenon before irrationality determines the cause of our own demise. One possibility and compelling reason could be the rise of communism to the effect of establishing a godless society. Although the majority of people and nations debunked the idea of communism, most people allowed it to govern through a backdoor. The elements of communism, such as godlessness in society, destruction of the institutions of marriage and families, loss of individual identity, and chaos in society while trying to exult society, are some of the striking features. And communism succeeded in promoting its principles without engaging in a fiery war. The institution of marriage is on the rocks; morality is toast out of the window; a false sense of individual freedom is promoted; God has no place in the public spear; and chaos reigns in society. More and more children grow up in broken families or raised by single parents, and this is the new normal for contemporary society. The fear of marriage and the absence of God are good recipes for moral aberrations such as attraction for the same sex and abortions.
Goddess of Secularism
Sadly, those countries and institutions that were opposing communism were the first to legalise abortions and same-sex marriages, which is appalling and disconcerting because they have fallen into the trap set by the atheistic ideology to confuse and confound human society. It is not overly surprising, but surprising, that the voice of the goddess of the secular world is being hailed with honour and distinction by those institutions, which otherwise would have condemned it outright. One of the goddesses of the secular world, Hillary Clinton, gave a clarion call not too long ago: “The church must change its age-old teachings for the changing times.” She must be rejoicing at the sound of bells for blessing the same-sex couples. Yes, indeed, all are welcome in the church, but we have to dress appropriately to be part of the people of God. All are welcome, but this welcome has a rider—that is, not on our terms but on Christ terms. Otherwise, the King would come and say, “Son, how did you get into the wedding hall without a proper wedding garment?”
It is not surprising that the Sacred Scripture abhors sins—the sins of sexual aberrations, particularly homosexuality—with disdain and horror. “Although they know God’s righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them.” Rom 1/13. Examining the current times, it appears that the world has dispatched missionaries to the church and not the other way around.
Eternal prescription
Certainly, the doctor did not prescribe it, and the eternal prescription is clear, “If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall surely be put to death; their blood is upon them.” Lev 20/13. No one should be shocked; in recent times, heaven has forewarned about communism and that it will spread errors throughout the world. Contemporary society is mostly governed by errors, as it has embraced relativism in all aspects of life. Nonetheless, it is beyond comprehension that those institutions that were supposed to be the custodians of truth and morality have fallen into error. It is important to give heed to the words of Jesus: “If anyone causes one of these little ones—those who believe in me—to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.” (Mt 18/6; Lk 17/2). More than ever before, the question that Jesus posed, “Will I find any faith on earth when I return?” is more compelling today than at any time in our history. Therefore, it is of paramount importance that rational beings learn to appreciate absolute truth and objective morality and reject the ideals of communism to avoid living in errors for a happy and peaceful existence. For that reason, “Woe to me, if I do not preach the gospel.” (I Cor 9/16)
